SSH

SSH and FTP are frequently discussed together. Secure Shell was created in 1995 and can be described as “a cryptographic network protocol for secure data communication”. SSH permits remote command-line login and remote execution. It shares many of the features of FTP but has much better security. The latest versions are known as SSH-1 and SSH-2.

Please note that technologies described on Wiki pages are not necessary the part of Plesk control panel or its extensions.
