How to remove an SSL certificate in Plesk?
Answer
Note: Make sure that the certificate is not being selected to secure other services (Domain, Mail, IP address, Panel). It is not possible to remove a certificate if this is being selected.

Remove SSL certificate from a Domain repository

Go to Domains > example.com > Hosting Settings > Set Certificate to Not selected > Click OK to apply changes:

Go to Domains > example.com > Mail Settings > Set SSL/TLS certificate for webmail and SSL/TLS certificate for Mail to Not selected > Click OK to apply changes:

Go to Domains > example.com > SSL/TLS Certificates > Advanced Settings > Select the certificate > Make sure that there is a zero in the Used column > Click on Remove:

Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Make sure the certificate is not being used to secure Plesk or the Mail service
- If any issues persist, make sure that the certificate is not being selected to secure other services or domains.
Remove SSL certificate from the Administrator repository

Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Click on [Change] next to Certificate for securing Plesk > Choose another certificate > OK

Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Click on [Change] next to Certificate for securing mail > Choose another certificate > OK

Go to Tools & Settings > IP Addresses > Click on each IP Address > Change SSL/TLS certificate to another certificate > OK
- Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Select another certificate > Click Make Default

Go to Tools & Settings > SSL/TLS Certificates > Select the certificate > Make sure that there is a zero in the Used column > Click on Remove

If any issues persist, make sure that the certificate is not being selected to secure other services or domains.
