How to activate Google Workspace on a domain using the Google Workspace (former G Suite) Extension in Plesk?

Answer

Note: If an account for example.com domain already exists on Google Workspace, you will see the transfer customer screen. In such cases, follow these instructions on how to transfer the Google Workspace account to your Google Workspace reseller account. Note: User accounts on trial accounts are not counted towards the Google Workspace extension license.

  1. Log in to Plesk.

  2. Go to Google Workspace > Domains > Manage example.com

  3. Select the plan for the account (Basic, Business, or Enterprise). Uncheck the Trial if you want to provide the production account right away. If not, you can switch the account from trial to production at any moment but not vice versa.

  4. Define a super admin for the account:

    • Email on the domain, on which you enable Google Workspace. If a mailbox with such name does not exist, the extension will create it with the password specified below.
    • Password for super admin of the account on Google Workspace.
    • First and last name.
    • Alternative email, not on the domain on which you are enabling Google Workspace.
  5. Fill in Google customer details for billing/invoicing purposes.

  6. Click Activate.

Warning: Only Plesk administrator can use Google Workspace extension to enable services on domains. The extension is not integrated into Plesk service plans via limits or permissions and cannot be delegated to resellers or customers.
