Domain shows Plesk Default page when it is disabled

Symptoms

• The domain shows the Plesk default page instead of the website content
• The website is Disabled or does not exist in Plesk under Domains > example.com

Cause

A domain is disabled in Plesk. It means that visitors will see the web server's default page. The hosting services such as mail will be unavailable.

Note: However, the physical directories and files can be accessed by FTP clients and File Manager.

Resolution

1. Log into Plesk
2. Go to Domains > example.com
3. Create the domain with the Add Domain button or click the Activate button:
