Domain creation fails on a Plesk server: String must not be empty

Symptoms

• A domain or subdomain can not be created or restored in Plesk:

  Domain example.com creation failed
  String must not be empty

Cause

Failed Plesk upgrade.

Resolution

1. Log in to Plesk.

2. Go to Tools & Settings > Server Components page and click on Refresh button.
