As you might know, several operating systems will reach End Of Life support for Plesk soon:
- CentOS7 – EOL June 30, 2024
- CloudLinux 7 – EOL June 30, 2024
- Ubuntu 18.04 – EOL May , 2023
- Support by Plesk has been extended to September 30, 2024
- Debian 10 – June 30, 2024
This means that after these dates, the operating systems in question will no longer receive security updates, making them more vulnerable to attacks.

Extended Lifecyle Support Program
We are enrolling all qualifying servers in the Extended Lifecycle Support program to provide you with some extra breathing room for our Partners. Our Retail customers will need to opt-in to this program. We will partner with TuxCare to deliver critical security updates for CentOS 7, CloudLinux 7, and Ubuntu 18.04 servers. Please note that servers running Debian 10 are not eligible for TuxCare. Plesk will also continue to deliver full-scope product updates and technical support.
The ELS program will extend support for your operating system during these dates:
- CentOS 7 & CloudLinux 7 – July 1, 2024 to January 1, 2026
- Ubuntu 18.04 & Debian 10 – October 1, 2024 to July 1, 2025
Important Message: There will be an additional monthly fee per qualifying license to cover the additional security updates starting August 1, 2024.
Note that this fee will continue being charged until the underlying operating system is upgraded to a supported version. We are offering one month of free coverage for the month of July 2024 for CentOS 7 and CloudLinux 7 servers. Ubuntu 18.04 and Debian 10 servers will receive free coverage until September 30, 2024. This fee is subject to increase starting January 1, 2025. Licenses associated with supported operating systems will not incur additional ELS fees. ELS fees are dependent upon the Plesk license type.
