Cannot use Docker in Plesk: Local docker nodes can not be deployed in this environment

Symptoms

Docker page in Plesk UI shows the following warning:

Warning: Local Docker nodes cannot be deployed in this environment. Only remote Docker nodes are available. Refer to this document for more information about the environment suitable for local Docker nodes. You can use remote Docker nodes only if you have paid version of the Docker extension. You can buy the extension here.

Cause

Docker is launched on the unsupported OS.

Resolution

To use Docker, consider using Plesk with an operating system that supports it:

• AlmaLinux 8.x and Rocky Linux 8.x.
• CentOS 7
• RHEL 7
• Debian 10, 11
• Ubuntu 18.04
• Ubuntu 20.04 (also on ARM based server)
• Ubuntu 22.04 (also on ARM based server)
• Virtuozzo 7 with Update 1 Hotfix 1 (7.0.1-686) or later.

Also, Docker runs only on x86_64 systems.
